He's For Your Entertainment!
Will he ever make it down to Malaysia? I don't know, nobody knows...you know la seeing Malaysia's formal control over everything. It'd be really great if Adam Lambert can come down to Malaysia for his tour. I'm not sure if its right to compare him with Lady Gaga but he's like the male version of Gaga. Outrageous performances, out-of-the-box outfits, amazing music videos and a power vocal to back it up. I have no idea how much I have blog about Adam Lambert. He's like a major icon right now. Be it gay icon or music icon. Some even say he's a Sex God. Haha...he sure looks like one. Although sometimes, his choice of hairstyle is abit erm...ugly. Especially when he comb it up to look like a curry-puff. I prefer his hairstyle in Whataya Want From Me's music video. He looked so cool in it. Wonder what's next for Adam Lambert...

$
Kesha Rose Serbert aka Ke$ha. Currently hot with Your Love Is My Drug on airwaves, she is Pop's latest naughty girl, well sort off. Her first single TikTok was a huge success. Then followed up with BlahBlahBlah. I've listen to her entire album eversince TikTok came out. She should release Styrofoam next! Anyways, I'm here to talk about Ke$ha's live act. Honestly, she sucks live. Ya, no doubt she can sing but she lacks the entertainer's omph. All her moves are the same. Going round a little tipsy and kicking here and that. We get it, you're rough, you're the sweet girl next door, not the All-American girl. Her sense of style is not too bad. Some of her choices are quite fun and fresh to the eyes but sometimes it can be a little tacky and slutty. She's been wearing the top with a $ sign in almost all of her Live! performances. Yeah, you didn't get paid for your stint in Florida's Right Round but now you're kinda big. Get over it. We get it that your $ sign means you are all about making the big bucks. Blah-blah-blah...Don't get it wrong, I still enjoy her music, CHEERS...
Gotta stop talk-talk-talking that now - Jo$eph
KL - The Real Concrete Jungle
KL is the equivalent of New York is Penang is London. Anyways, Penang is nowhere near London. I was in KL for 3days. The moment I reach there, I was amazed by the architecture but was soon left with a frown due to the traffic. No doubt, the traffic there is a pain in the ass but KL is sure damn fun to be at. Maybe its just me but I like KL. Funny how things are. Penangnites want to go over to KL but KL people wants to come Penang.
Being a shopaholic myself, KL is just nice. My goD, the malls there! I went to KLCC, Lot10, Sungei Wang, Pavilion, Times Square and Chinatown (not a mall, obviously). Spend alot on LRT and Monorail actually but its fun to travel via all these. It made me feel so independent considering its my first time travelling out of Penang all by myself. I went on to the bus by myself, asked for directions, felt like a true tourist. My favourite mall? Times Square! There's accesorries everywhere! I can find my wristbands (Bibi calls it Lilikokok, aduh...) like everywhere! Don't even get me started on rings and necklaces. Shoes!!! Clothes!!! Holy Heaven of Shopaholics! I managed to get 2 wristbands. One is a 2strap buckled while the other is a 3strap buckled. Bibi took the 2strap, haha...I didn't get the chance to snap any photos of my adventure because I was too busy shopping, be it window or real shopping. Next time! I'll take pictures.
Here's a funny experience to share:
Chinatown:-
I saw this fake Billabong bagpack and vendor tried to tell me its original. I went up to the vendor and asked the price. At Chinatown, this bag was priced at RM239. I asked in English, the vendor, thinking I'm a tourist and wanting to cheat me told me RM239 at a discounted rate. I replied in Mandarin, he said for locals, special price at RM160. I change to Cantonese, he said: ok fine, tell me your budget, I'll give it to you for that price. I told him my budget is RM60. He said, RM60? OK!.
Times Square:-
The bag that I've been looking for everywhere! I called it the Masked Rider bag because it has the shape of a bug's stomach. Couldn't find it in Penang. I asked in English, 'How much is this bag?'. Vendor replied RM150. In Mandarin, the vendor said I'll give you a discount. How about RM100? In Cantonese, the vendor said its priced for RM80.
HAHAHA! Its really funny and by the way, I bought nothing. I didn't buy either of the bags. What a joke! Damn, these 2vendors must've hate me. Anyways, I really like the Lilikokok that I got. Leia o post completo...

Breaking Solo
Who's breaking it solo? Cheryl Cole, that's who. She's still in Girls Aloud, don't worry but don't you think so that when people mentioned Girls Aloud, we'd normally go like, Girls WHO? Mention Cheryl Cole, people start talking about "Oh, that song! Fight For This Love". Looks like she made the right choice by going solo and by leaving ex-hubby Ashley Cole as well. Her songs in the album 3 Words are like a healing method for her during her on-going drama with useless her husband.
Anyways, she first appeared solo in Will.i.am of Black Eyed Pea fame in his single Heart-breaker. Now she's got her own single called Fight For This Love. She's even released a music video for Parachute and 3 Words. Her dance moves aren't awesome or mind-blowing but its very addictive and fun to dance along. Hey, I myself am addicted to Fight For This Love and Parachute's dance moves. The thing is, people don't give Cheryl Cole enough credits! Its hard breaking into the US market especially if you're from the Brit. She should be in the US market. Malaysia radios should play more of her songs. Come on...She's been performing in the UK and Danish's X-Factor. As well as the Brits Award. She's been touring but around London, thats all...and from my observation, I've noticed that Cheryl Cole particularly likes high-slit dress or pants. Every performance that she's had, she'd wear these dress or pants that slit open from the sides all the way up to her waist...
Lady Gaga
Quote from Gaga when asked who/what's her inspiration:
"Lady Gaga - God & Gays"
The infamous name. The name Gaga has actually became a brand. Fashion and music are now becoming more Gaga-like. Everyone is trying to do what Gaga did. Create a whole new generation of music. Gaga make outrageous performances looked effortless. The audience can accept Gaga's antics. And now, other artistes are trying to follow her footstep. There's Kylie Minogue who tried to follow Gaga's outrageous clothing sense, Rihanna who tried to imitate Gaga's style (well, it kinda worked for her but my god! enough with the whole 'Chris Brown beat me up so I'm gonna do an anti-boy record' alraedy!). Who else, hmm...there's also Miss Christina Aguilera. When Gaga first came out to the scene, she was compared to few big names in the industry. She was said to be the combination of Gwen Stefani and Chrstina Aguilera. Check out a cover page on one of Malaysia's local entertainment magazine and you will see Christina Aguilera with a very significant Gaga pose. There's also rumors going around that Lady Gaga is a Satanist and that her poses and all her gestures refers to the art of praying to the devil. There's even a video made up by fan or should I say anti-fan who linked Gaga with the Satanist Cult. Give her a break. Enough with breaking her self-esteem. First there's her being hermaphrodite, then her being a drag queen, used to be a male and all those shit. She gives you good music, isn't that enough?
And now, Gaga has actually said she wants to go for cosmetic surgery or plastic as we know it. She wants to get a nose job, thigh job, boob job and jobs all over to make herself more feminine. She feel that she's very manly-looking. Gosh! You people! She gave you Just Dance, Poker Face, Paparazzi, Love Game, Eh Eh(Nothing Else I Can Say), Bad Romance, Alejandro, Dance In The Dark, Telephone and many more. Listen to both her album and you know there's no stopping this talented lady. Deny it as much as they want but these anti-Gaga people still listens to Lady Gaga...
